Brief History
One Power Foundation was established to bridge the infrastructure gap in underserved communities across Ghana. Rooted in the belief that sustainable development begins with access to basic infrastructure and economic opportunity, the foundation focuses on transformative projects in education, healthcare, sanitation, and economic empowerment.
The foundation's story began with the President's vivid dream — conceived nearly fifteen years ago — to provide meaningful assistance to professionals and communities in all spheres of life. She shared that dream with her team, and together they worked to bring it into fruition.
This project has gone through many structural and administrative adjustments, growing stronger with each step. Today, One Power Foundation stands at the forefront of civil society efforts to ensure that no community is left behind.
A key focus is supporting everyone — regardless of colour, race, religion or political affiliation — in business training and financial literacy programs to promote independence and sustainable livelihoods.
Our Objectives

Offer basic housing improvements.
Facilitate skill training for youth in infrastructure maintenance.

Our Organisational Structure

Provides overall strategic leadership and vision.
Vice President
Supports the President and oversees high-level operations.
Directors
Lead major departments: Finance, Programs, Outreach, Legal, Public Relations, Governance, Research & Marketing.
Regional Directors
Oversee foundation activities across the regions.
District Directors
Manage and coordinate efforts within specific districts (across all districts).
Local Managers
Implement programs and represent the foundation at the community level (per community).
Council of Elders
